Yes — and many people don’t realize they qualify. Here’s a quick checklist of programs that can help lower your Medicare costs:
Medicaid
If your income and assets fall below certain limits, Medicaid can help pay for premiums, deductibles, and even long-term care.
Medicare Savings Programs (MSPs)
There are four types, depending on your income. These can cover your Part B premium and sometimes more.
Extra Help (for Part D)
This helps with prescription costs — premiums, deductibles, and copays. If you qualify, you could save thousands per year on medications.
PACE (Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly)
Available in some areas, PACE provides comprehensive care and coverage for eligible seniors, often including social and transportation support.
State Pharmacy Assistance Programs
Some states offer help paying for prescriptions, separate from Part D.
Bottom line: Help is out there — and we can walk you through the eligibility steps. If costs are keeping you from getting coverage or medication, let’s see what assistance you might qualify for.
