With so many Medicare Advantage plans available, comparing them can feel overwhelming. Here's how to make it manageable:
Step 1: Know what matters most to you.
Make a list: doctors, specialists, medications, travel needs, monthly budget.
Step 2: Check provider networks.
Not all plans include all doctors. Use the plan’s search tool or call your providers to confirm.
Step 3: Compare drug coverage.
Each plan has its own formulary (list of covered drugs). Make sure your prescriptions are covered at a reasonable cost.
Step 4: Review coverage extras.
Many Advantage plans offer vision, dental, hearing, and fitness perks. Compare these if they’re important to you.
Step 5: Consider the out-of-pocket max.
All Advantage plans have a limit on how much you pay out of pocket annually. Lower isn’t always better, but it’s worth comparing.
Bottom line: Don’t go it alone. We can help you compare plans side-by-side so you can choose confidently — not just based on cost, but based on what works for you and your lifestyle.
